MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Objective of the Darlington Social Cricket Club Inc:
To provide the means and facilities for the playing of amateur cricket and to encourage friendship and social activity through the medium of cricket.
Membership of the DSCC includes full voting entitlements for both applicant and partner. Members of the Club and their families are invited and encouraged to become involved in all aspects of the Club life. Expectations of all members are to contribute by providing afternoon teas at matches, hosting post match BBQs at their residences for players, opposition and club members, and assisting at club events such as working in club stalls at fund raising events . These components are a vital part of the clubs culture – the enjoyment for families, players and guests, and the clubs ongoing viability.
Applications for Membership are considered and decided upon by the DSCC Committee based on the following guidelines:
All Members;
· being a current resident of, live in close proximity to, or have a close connection with Darlington ;
· willingness to actively participate in and contribute to Club activities by the Member(s) and family;
Playing Members;
· play, or having played, a reasonable standard of cricket;
· available openings for playing members.
Club Members should at all times be Financial Members:
· Annual Subscription Fee (both Playing and Social Members) $100/Family.
· Application Fee $30/Family.
